The goal
There's a queue at the kiosk screen. The app had to clear it: let people order and pay from their phone before they walk up, and so increase the throughput of every kiosk.
Munchies puts up robotic kiosks serving hot snacks. We built the app that shortens the queue: the customer finds a kiosk on the map, orders, pays with BLIK or card and collects under their own number.

An iOS and Android app connected to the client's kiosk system: stock levels, cart reservation, order status and pickup number.
An app that has to talk to the kiosk system from day one is a longer road than a first version of an internal system. First the production build, then the Google Play release and BLIK payments, and once the card agreement was signed, cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
An order from the app takes seconds. No product sells twice, because the cart reserves stock on the shelf of a specific kiosk and the stock refreshes with every tap.
